Konferensi
ini merupakan forum pertemuan para peneliti, industri, pengembang,
otoritas, pemerintah, analis dan lainnya yang terkait dengan TIK
untuk memaparkan dan mediskusikan hasil-hasil penelitian, pengembangan
maupun usulan yang berkaitan dengan TIK. Forum ini telah berlangsung
3 kali (2 kali di Bandung dan satu kali di Jakarta) dengan peserta
masing-masing lebih dari 600 orang dan dibuka oleh Presiden RI
(2005) dan Wakil Presiden RI (2006). Hasil konferensi telah menjadi
referensi penerapan TIK Nasional antara lain Dasa Sila TIK Bandung
dan masukan program-program TIK Nasional seperti Dewan Teknologi
Informasi dan Komunikasi Nasional (DETIKNAS). Konferensi kali
ini dirancang untuk mengenali hasil penelitian, pengembangan produk/layanan
dan pengembangan kebijakan terkait dengan TIK. Tema temu nasional
dan konferensi kali ini adalah:

berupa A4, maksimal 6 halaman.

saat dan tempat yang sama juga diadakan konferensi tingkat intersional,
2nd International Con-ference on Chief Information Officer (ICCIO),
yang merupakan bagian dari kegiatan e-Indonesia Initiati-ves Forum
IV 2008 (eII2008). Selain itu diadakan pula ICT Expo 2008 berupa
pameran produk TIK.

Untuk ikut terlibat dalam kegiatan ini, peserta dikenai biaya

Information
The 2nd International Conference on Chief Information Officer
(ICCIO) will be held on 22 May 2008 in Jakarta. The conference
for this year coincides with the Celebration of 100 Years National
Awakening where Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
is considered to be the main driving force to achieve national
prosperity. This conference will become the avenue of researchers,
government sectors, developers, analysts, academicians, industrial
sectors, authorities and all of stake holders of ICT field to
share their vision, experience and idea. The conference itself
is designed in view that the main obstacle of successful ICT
implementation, especially in developing countries, is the lack
of synergy amongst peoples, culture, systems and applications.
The solutions of the problem need serious commitment, effort
and involvement of the whole stake holders and new roles of
Chief Information Officers with holistic view of the solution.
With those environment backgrounds, the theme of this year conference
is:
CIO leads the way in changing
the peoples mind and organizational culture toward better ICT
implementation

Submission
The authors are required to follow the appropriate submission
guidelines. Write your paper on A4 paper, 6 pages maximum and
refer to the template (and more detail guidlines) available
at http://www.eii-
forum.or. id.
The papers will be selected by the technical committee whose
members are respective people in ICT, acade-mia, researcher
and practitioners of ICT. The com-mittee has right to make arrangement
and suggestion whether the paper will be published in ICCIO
or the ICT4Indonesia conference which is held at the same venue*.
